Yorkshire-headquartered communication technology business Apollo Cloud has acquired Harrogate-based Xi Communications, in a strategic deal advised by GS Verde Group.

Founded in 2022, Apollo Cloud provides VoIP telephony, unified communications, business mobiles and internet connectivity to a diverse UK and international customer base, spanning professional services, logistics, education, healthcare and manufacturing sectors.

Established in 2014 and led by Martin Taylor and Tony Mellor, Xi Communications has built a strong reputation for its technical expertise and personable customer care, delivering advanced telecoms solutions to SMEs across Yorkshire. Following the acquisition, both Martin and Tony will join Apollo Cloud as Area Directors, ensuring a seamless transition for Xi’s 160 customers, who will continue to be supported by the same trusted team.
